Structural Changes

According to authors Calliet & Gross, in the Rejuvenation Factor, “to live a long & healthy life few things matter more than good posture”.  Postures has been shown to affects & moderate every physiological function from breathing to hormonal production.  Spinal pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, pulse and lung capacity are among the functions most easily influenced by posture.”

Regular posture assessments are conducted to help gauge your levels of improvements.

In addition, less frequent x-ray examinations may be conducted to determine overall degree of subluxation correction

During exams we may ask you to allocate approximately 30 minutes of you time to allow for all the necessary history &/or examinations to be completed.

Dr. Heather Asks some important questions of interest to Summerville residents - Chiropractor Summerville Dr. Heather Asks...

Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Summerville chiropractic practice.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
